Sherine to Pursue Legal Action Over Fake Concert Posters

Social media platforms were abuzz when a poster emerged announcing a concert featuring Egyptian stars Sherine Abdel Wahab and Amr Diab in Dubai on October 9th, complete with ticket prices and sales details. However, the announcement has proven to be false.

A concert organizing company falsely claimed a star-studded event featuring both Amr Diab and Sherine Abdel Wahab would take place on October 9th in Dubai, branding it as an extraordinary first-time collaboration and even provided ticket prices to attract the public.

However, Sherine’s manager, Nasser Bejato, has categorically denied the claims, stating in an official announcement that the circulated poster regarding the concert is fabricated and holds no truth.

Beyond denying the concert's existence, Sherine’s team has vowed to take legal action against those spreading these false advertisements or wrongly associating her with fictitious events, especially if such use of her name is financially exploiting the public.

Sherine’s lawyer, Yasser Qantoush, declared in a statement that he will take legal measures against anyone who publishes a poster or falsely attributes an event to Sherine Abdel Wahab, particularly if it involves defrauding the public.

These actions come as the fake poster circulates on social media, potentially misleading some followers into believing in the bogus event due to its precise date and pricing details, making the clarification essential to prevent exploitation of the artist's name.
