No Generators After 3 Days?

Member of the Generators Owners Assembly, Qazhiya Mansour, announced that "there is a shortage of diesel after a large quantity was smuggled to Syria due to price differences and delays in delivery." He added in an interview with "Voice of Lebanon" that "the proposal made by Minister of Energy and Water in the caretaker government, Walid Fayyad, has been administratively completed, but there are demands from donor institutions to supply Lebanon with gas and electricity, which include increasing the suspension, raising the price per kilowatt, activating bill collection, and establishing a regulatory authority." He pointed out that "the stock of generator owners is enough for only two or three days, and they cannot continue without receiving fuel supplies from the companies." He noted that "the areas that charge generator subscription fees in US dollars are regions that are not monitored by the state."
