Samsung has launched the new Smart Monitor, available in two new models: the M5 with a 24-inch size and a resolution of 1080 pixels, and the M7 with a size of 43 inches and a 4K resolution. The South Korean company explained that the monitor offers many smart features; for example, it allows video transfer via Apple's AirPlay 2 from an iPhone or iPad. The TV Plus feature provides a package of content that can be streamed for free, alongside a range of streaming applications like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. The monitor also allows the use of Microsoft Office 365 applications without needing to connect to a computer. It includes a variety of ports, including a USB-C port on the higher model, and Samsung smartphones can be used as a desktop via the Wireless DeX feature. The monitor can be controlled using a solar-powered remote control or through voice assistance. Samsung has not yet disclosed the release date or pricing for its new screens.
