50 Buses Donated by France to the Lebanese

As part of the French aid provided to Lebanon, the Aknoul ship belonging to the CMA - CGM shipping fleet has docked at the Port of Beirut carrying 50 buses donated by France to the Lebanese. These buses are expected to be made available to the Lebanese within a month to enhance public transportation. In this context, Minister of Public Works Ali Hamieh announced, "We will start preparing a new legal framework for transportation in Lebanon, where the state will be the regulator and the private sector the facilitator." He confirmed that the main objective of the ministry is to activate public facilities.
