Tunisia's Basketball Team Achieves Second Victory in African Qualifiers

The city of Monastir hosted the match between Tunisia's basketball team and the Democratic Republic of Congo as part of the second round of Group A in the second qualifying tournament for AfroBasket 2021.

Tunisia secured a victory over the Democratic Republic of Congo with a score of 73-68. The Tunisian team dominated the match from the first quarter, finishing that period with a score of 22-17, before extending the lead to 10 points in the second quarter (43-33). In the third period, the control continued for the Tunisian Eagles, ending the quarter with a 14-point lead (64-50), although the gap narrowed to 5 points by the end of the match.

This victory marks the second consecutive win for the Tunisian Eagles, who secured qualification for the finals yesterday after defeating Madagascar 78-51. It is worth noting that the Tunisian team will face the Central African Republic tomorrow, Sunday.
