The State Department welcomed the Abraham Accords and stated that it will build upon them, confirming that they are not a substitute for the Israeli-Palestinian peace agreement. Additionally, the statement noted that the United States intends to resume humanitarian assistance for the Palestinians. Regarding the situation in Syria, the State Department clarified that it will renew efforts to reach a political solution in Syria after consulting with its allies.
