Turkish media reported that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan plans to discuss with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin during talks in Sochi the readiness of Turkish forces for a new military operation in northern Syria. According to Anadolu Agency, President Erdogan is scheduled to visit Sochi today, Friday, where he will hold discussions with President Putin, addressing the Turkish military operations in northern Syria. The agency noted that the two sides will also discuss the situation in Ukraine and the implementation of agreements regarding the lifting of restrictions on the export of Russian products. Additionally, the leaders of Turkey and Russia will address the matter of increasing trade between the two countries, enhancing cooperation, including in the fields of energy and defense industry, and executing strategic projects.
