Firefighting teams from the civil defense succeeded in extinguishing the fire that broke out at the carpet factory 42 hours ago. Efforts have now shifted to cooling areas that are at risk of rekindling fires, with losses estimated in the millions of dollars and over 250 employees displaced.
Dozens of workers are actively removing quantities of goods from the warehouse that were not affected by the fire. These are chemical materials used in the manufacture of carpets and rugs, and a portion of them remains undamaged.
