The father of artist Hisham Abbas has passed away after a battle with illness. The prominent poet Ayman Bahjat Qamar mourned the father of artist Hisham Abbas, engineer Mahmoud Mohammed Abbas, through a post he shared on his personal account on social media, "Facebook", stating: "Today, the father of my brother and dear friend artist Hisham Abbas has passed away. May he rest in peace, and my heartfelt condolences to the family."
The funeral of the deceased was held at the cemetery in the Kurdish area of Al-Ibagiya in Basateen, where Hisham Abbas and relatives performed the funeral prayer for him, according to Al-Youm Al-Sabea newspaper. The funeral was limited to relatives and family due to the recent spread of the Coronavirus and in an effort to ensure everyone's safety. It was also confirmed that the death came unexpectedly. Recently, star Hisham Abbas released his latest song on YouTube titled "Saharnin Al-Lail," with lyrics by Amir Taima, music by Mohammed Yahya, and arrangement by Karim Abdel Wahab.
