Queen Elizabeth's Dresses... Made of Wax!

The Madame Tussauds museum in London features a collection of royal dresses made of wax in celebration of Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee. The exhibition includes the gown from her coronation, designed by Joan Tussaud, the granddaughter of Marie Tussaud, who founded the famous wax museum. Tussaud also recreated one of Queen Elizabeth's dresses, which had been designed by royal tailor Norman Hartnell. On June 2nd, Queen Elizabeth II, who recently turned ninety-six, will celebrate her Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years on the British throne.
