Death of 23 People Due to Lightning Strikes

Officials in India have announced that at least 23 people have died from lightning strikes that hit eastern parts of the country during the past few days amid monsoon storms. Authorities from the disaster management department in Bihar, located in eastern India, stated that the victims of these lightning strikes were farmers and laborers in Bihar, and they were killed during the severe storms that affected the state between Wednesday and Friday.
