Hakimi posted the picture with Salah on his Instagram account, adding a "crown" emoji next to it, referring to Salah's nickname "the Egyptian king" given by fans. The Moroccan national team played their last group match in the Africa Cup of Nations against Gabon in Yaoundé, before the Egyptian team also played their final match in the same stadium. Morocco qualified in first place in their group, while the "Pharaohs" reached the Round of 16 in second place with 6 points, behind group leader Nigeria.
