Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan said today, Saturday, that Lebanon must show stronger signals of its seriousness in reform to gain the support of the international community as it faces a financial crisis.
Prince Faisal stated during the Munich Security Conference, "Lebanon needs to act decisively to save itself. We need a stronger signal from the Lebanese political elite that they are moving seriously towards reform."
He further stated that this includes efforts to support and stabilize the economy, address issues of corruption and mismanagement, as well as "regional interference and the loss of the state's sovereignty."
