The British newspaper "The Sun" revealed that giant rats have invaded homes in Britain in recent days by sneaking through sewage pipes and emerging from toilets. One pest control company in the country reported that these giant rats are "the size of cats," noting that the lockdown due to the coronavirus made these creatures bolder in breaking into homes. The company stated that it has been receiving numerous phone calls from citizens "in a state of great shock" after being surprised by rats coming out of their toilets. It disclosed that it has been forced to hire a large number of people to "wage war on the rats." "The Sun" indicated that during the pandemic, the rodents moved into residential homes after being forced to seek other food sources due to restaurant closures. Citizens report that they have become fearful of using toilets, highlighting that the rats appear "as if they have been training in gyms."
