Fadi Abu Shakra, representative of fuel distributors in Lebanon, announced that "a new fuel schedule will be issued today due to price fluctuations, specifically the rise in the Sayrafa price and the black market dollar." He stated to "Voice of Lebanon": "The stations will close their doors because there is still no agreement with the Minister of Energy and the General Directorate of Oil regarding the commissions for station owners, as they are incurring significant losses."
