Darin Haddad Quarantined After Testing Positive for COVID-19

Tunisian artist Darin Haddad disclosed that she has tested positive for the novel coronavirus "COVID-19," and is currently undergoing quarantine and home isolation. She wrote on her personal Instagram page: "COVID positive... patience in quarantine."

Darin Haddad had been continuing to film her scenes for the series "Phobia," directed by Adel Al-Asar, which has resumed production after a three-year hiatus due to production issues. The project returned after a change in its lead actor, as Khaled El Sawy had to withdraw since the filming was paused. The director recently contracted actor Fathi Abdel Wahab for the role. Darin Haddad indicated that this series is currently the only one in which she will appear in next Ramadan's dramas. She is intensively filming her scenes according to the schedule set by director Adel Al-Asar to complete the shooting on time for it to be ready for broadcast during the upcoming Ramadan. It is noteworthy that the series title "Phobia" has been changed and an announcement regarding it is expected to be made in conjunction with the filming. The cast includes many notable actors such as Fathi Abdel Wahab, Aiten Amer, Mirhan Hussein, Ahmed Safwat, Mai Al-Qadhi, Ahmed Foad Selim, Tarek Abdel Aziz, Mohsen Mansour, Bahaa Tharwat, and Nasser Saif, with the script written by Tarek Berkat and directed by Adel Al-Asar.
