Former chef to Queen Elizabeth, Darren O'Grady, has revealed that the queen loves hamburgers and is not a fan of pizza. During his 15 years working at Buckingham Palace, he never prepared any type of pizza. O'Grady mentioned that although the queen adores hamburgers, she has certain conditions regarding how they are made. He emphasized that she is not a fan of fast food in general, preferring burgers without buns and classic French cuisine. According to the royal chef, the queen does not order hamburgers from well-known fast food restaurants; instead, she requests them from her staff to prepare in the palace kitchen.
O'Grady, who worked in the royal kitchen for 15 years cooking for Queen Elizabeth, Prince Harry, and Prince William, added, "We made the burgers ourselves, and they would hunt deer to make the burgers." When he wasn't making bunless burgers for the queen, he primarily cooked her favorite classic French dishes. He reiterated that Queen Elizabeth is not a fan of pizza, and therefore, he did not prepare any pizza during his entire time at the palace.
