Al-Maqasid Hospital Denies Rumors of Closure on Monday

The administration of Al-Maqasid Hospital announced its denial of claims circulating on some social media platforms regarding the closure of the hospital starting tomorrow, Monday.

The National News Agency reported that the hospital administration issued a statement clarifying the current situation, emphasizing that the hospital continues to provide medical services and fulfill its humanitarian mission, especially during these challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. The hospital's statement referred to the destructive objectives and malicious intentions demonstrated by some paid social media outlets aiming to tarnish the humanitarian, social, and medical image of Al-Maqasid. It asserted that statements made by an alleged union of workers and employees of Al-Maqasid Hospital about closing the hospital's doors to patients from tomorrow, Monday, are unfounded and not true.

The administration reiterated in its statement that the hospital is committed to delivering medical services and maintaining its humanitarian mission, particularly during these tough times due to the pandemic. They emphasized the provision of their most valuable medical expertise and advanced scientific techniques from doctors and nursing staff to ensure that the hospital stands united in confronting this deadly virus affecting the nation, and against any attempts to distort the image of Al-Maqasid and spread doubts about its mission and vision.

The statement concluded by highlighting the directives from the leadership of the association, represented by Dr. Faisal Sinno and the Board of Trustees, in supporting the hospital’s management and its medical, nursing, and administrative staff, considering it a testament to the sincerity of intentions and the success of endeavors in this institution.
