Walid Jumblatt, the head of the Progressive Socialist Party, tweeted: "As soon as I took office as Prime Minister of Britain, the new Prime Minister Liz Truss announced her intention to move her embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, in a statement that completely ignores the word Palestine. It seems she is continuing the path of Lloyd George in the violation of Palestine at the hands of the invaders from the children of Zion. It is a new Balfour Declaration."
