Under the guidance of Lebanese Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Latif Daryan, the Directorate General of Islamic Endowments issued a circular to the imams and preachers of mosques in Lebanon, urging them to call upon the Lebanese people in the upcoming Friday sermon to participate widely and actively in fulfilling their national duty by electing their representatives to the parliamentary council. They are encouraged to choose the most suitable, capable, and deserving candidates to hold this trust, and to motivate citizens to head to the ballot boxes to vote without complacency in taking part in this electoral process, which is seen as an opportunity for change by supporting those they believe will preserve Lebanon, the future of its children, its Arab identity, and its legitimate institutions.
