Title: "Mission Impossible" Style: Gang Steals Tom Cruise's Bags with Sophisticated Trick

Title:

Tom Cruise's bags, valued at thousands of euros, were stolen in England where the American star is filming the seventh installment of the "Mission Impossible" films, according to The Sun newspaper. The luggage was inside his security guard's car and was stolen late Monday night in front of a hotel in Birmingham where he was staying, the tabloid reported. A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said, "We received a report of a BMW X7 being stolen on Church Street in Birmingham in the early hours of Tuesday, August 24," without confirming the identity of the vehicle's owner. The car was found shortly afterward, according to the police spokesperson, who added that "the investigation is still ongoing," especially based on "surveillance footage from the area where the car was parked." However, "everything inside the car has disappeared," a source told The Sun, referring to "some luggage and possessions" belonging to the 59-year-old actor. The newspaper revealed that the thieves intercepted and replicated the signal sent from the key fob of this luxury car, just two minutes away from a police station. The Sun reported that "this trick, which rivals the plots of Mission Impossible films, allowed the gang to escape with the car in front of the security crew." Tom Cruise, known for performing most of his stunt scenes himself, caused a stir this week in the Midlands (North England). He was seen filming several scenes from the seventh installment of the Mission Impossible series, in which he plays the intelligence agent Ethan Hunt.
