In Britain, London announced on Friday that it is facing a "major incident" as its hospitals are at risk of being overwhelmed by a highly contagious strain of the coronavirus spreading across the UK. London Mayor Sadiq Khan stated that the virus has become "out of control."

Days ago, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro declared the bankruptcy of his country, attributing it to the COVID-19 pandemic, stating: "Brazil is bankrupt... there is nothing I can do... the reason is this virus fueled by the media."
