Today, a summit was held in Abu Dhabi, bringing together His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President of the State, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces; His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain; and His Excellency Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt. They discussed cooperation and coordination on various issues of mutual interest, as well as the latest developments in the regional and international arenas and the common challenges facing the Arab region.
During their summit at the Palace of Nations in Abu Dhabi, the leaders addressed the terrorist attacks carried out by the Houthi militia on civilian sites and facilities in the UAE, including the firing of two ballistic missiles, continuing attacks that pose a serious threat to the security and stability of the region. They emphasized that these aggressive practices violate all international laws and norms and affect international peace and security. The leaders called on the international community to take a united and firm stance against these militias and other forces of terrorism and their supporters.
His Majesty the King of Bahrain and His Excellency the Egyptian President reaffirmed their countries' solidarity with the UAE and their support for all steps taken to ensure its security and territorial integrity. The leaders underscored the importance of continued coordination and consultation among the three countries on various issues of mutual concern to serve Arab issues and the peoples of the region and the need to formulate a joint vision regarding these issues.
