According to the Qatar News Agency (QNA), Qatar's Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh al-Khulaifi, received a phone call from Syria's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Assad al-Shaybani.
During the call, they reviewed the cooperative relations between Doha and Damascus, deliberating on how to bolster and develop these ties. The conversation also delved into the latest developments in Syria, regional updates, and a number of common issues.
Al-Khulaifi reaffirmed Qatar's stance supporting Syria's sovereignty and unity, emphasizing Doha's backing for the Syrian people's aspirations toward stability, development, and prosperity.
The call highlights the notable progress in Qatar-Syria relations in recent times, with increased levels of coordination and cooperation both bilaterally and regionally.
