Hussein Wahbi Maghrabil, the president of the Union of Workers and Employees in the Nabatieh Governorate, warned of a "Revolution of the Hungry," stating that it is unacceptable under any political pressure or otherwise to make the loaf of bread a matter of contention. He noted that if the revolution over bread starts, it may leave nothing behind and no one will be spared.

He questioned, "Why is flour available in some areas and missing in others? For your information, a truck loaded with bread coming to Nabatieh was confiscated on the road by Syrian families who had paid for it." He called for the allocation of funds for wheat and flour without linking them to any political market.

This morning, the bread bundle was lost in Kfarchouh - Nabatieh after one of the bakeries in the area closed due to running out of flour, and the black market trade for bread thrived as individuals went to Khalde bakeries to resell a bundle for 30,000 lira.
