The Syrian star Omar Al-Soma, striker for Al-Ahli Saudi football club, sustained an injury during the match against "Abha" last Tuesday.
As a result, Omar Al-Soma will be sidelined from participating with Al-Ahli Jeddah for a duration of 10 days. He underwent an imaging scan on the injured area, which revealed a tear in the adductor muscle, requiring rest and treatment for ten days before returning to training.
Consequently, he will miss the match against Al-Ettifaq in Dammam next Sunday, during the fifteenth round of the Mohammed bin Salman Professional League. His absence may also extend to the match against Al-Batin in the sixteenth round on Sunday, January 31.
It is worth noting that Omar Al-Soma, 31 years old and the all-time top scorer in the Saudi Professional League, was injured in the closing minutes of the match against Abha, where he scored two goals during the fourteenth round.
