Drug Dealer Captured in a Precise Ambush!

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division, issued the following statement: As a result of the daily monitoring conducted by the Information Branch of the Internal Security Forces to combat drug trafficking and promotion, which is widely prevalent in various Lebanese regions, they managed to identify a dealer active in the area of Choueifat using a motorcycle. He is identified as: A. M. (born in 2004, Syrian). Orders were given to locate and monitor him in preparation for his capture in the act. On 24-08-2022, after precise surveillance, the branch's patrols executed a meticulous ambush in Choueifat that resulted in the arrest of the suspect while he was promoting drugs in the city, riding a motorcycle of the "Sweit" model without registration plates, which was seized. Alongside him, another individual was arrested: P. Z. (born in 1978, Lebanese), riding a "Joke" motorcycle.

Upon searching the dealer and his motorcycle, a bag containing 325 packets of cocaine, 12 packets of hashish, an amount of 25,750,000 Lebanese pounds, and two mobile phones were seized. Upon searching the second individual and his motorcycle, a paper packet containing cocaine was found in his possession. During investigations, the first individual confessed to promoting drugs in Choueifat to many clients, while the second admitted to drug use. Legal action was taken against them, and they were referred along with the confiscated items to the relevant authority, based on the instructions of the competent judiciary.
