Lebanon Present in UAE-French Talks in Paris

The President of the United Arab Emirates, Mohamed bin Zayed, is visiting the French capital for three days starting Sunday, fulfilling an invitation from President Macron, during which he will meet senior French officials. The visit program includes several stages, including the signing of a series of agreements in various economic and environmental fields, and it is expected that a partnership agreement on energy, oil, and gas will be signed between the two countries. France enjoys an exceptional partnership with Abu Dhabi across all sectors.

MTV’s correspondent in Paris reported, citing French presidential sources, that this visit is a strong gesture from the UAE towards France, demonstrating the close partnership between the two countries.

Regarding the political issues that will be discussed, in addition to the Iranian file, the war in Ukraine, and the Palestinian-Israeli issue, presidential sources confirmed that Lebanon is always on the table during discussions due to President Macron's interest in this issue, as well as his discussions with officials he meets who also consider this matter significant, whether directly or indirectly, and who may contribute to assisting this country.
