Riad Salamé: Banque du Liban's Funds Decreased by Two Billion and Two Hundred Million Dollars

Riad Salamé announced that the funds of Banque du Liban decreased by two billion and two hundred million dollars. In an interview with LBCI, Salamé stated that the funds were spent between the Sayrafa platform and the circulars 161 and 158, in addition to financing gasoline and the needs of the state. The energy sector took from the central bank an amount of 24 billion and 537 million dollars during the period from 2010 to 2021.
