Removal of Amr Diab's Songs and Albums from His YouTube Channel and Global Platforms

Fans of Egyptian artist Amr Diab were surprised by the disappearance of his songs and albums from his official YouTube channel, as well as from the Anghami and Tidal streaming platforms, as reported by the Egyptian newspaper "Al-Watan." The "Hadaba" channel has retained only video clips of his concerts held in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. The management of Amr Diab has not disclosed the main reason for the removal of his songs from these platforms. "Al-Watan" indicated that this disappearance is part of Amr Diab's strategy to confine his songs within a specific auditory application he owns, allowing him to earn revenue without sharing it with global platforms. The report noted that all the removed songs are owned by Amr Diab and produced through his company, Nay, meaning that the songs are not deleted or subject to copyright claims from other companies; he is the sole owner and has the right to manage, publish, and remove them at his discretion.
