Washington: Tehran's Recent Response on the Nuclear Agreement is Unconstructive

The United States has announced that "the last response provided by Tehran in the discussions regarding the 2015 nuclear agreement is not constructive," which limits the possibility of returning to compliance with this historic agreement. U.S. State Department spokesperson Vedant Patel stated that "we can confirm that we received Iran's response via the European Union. We are studying it and will respond through the European Union, but unfortunately, it is not constructive." European Union foreign policy chief Josep Borrell expressed hope on Wednesday for reviving the agreement concerning Iran's nuclear program "in the coming days."
