Title: Al-Jumhuriya: Qatar Continues Its Efforts

Al-Jumhuriya newspaper revealed, citing diplomatic sources, that the timing of the visit by the designated Prime Minister Saad Hariri to Qatar holds significant importance, coinciding with the return of Qatari Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani from Tehran after meeting with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif. They discussed their mutual relations and the outcomes of the recent Al-Ula Summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council states, which lifted the blockade on Qatar imposed by four neighboring Gulf countries.

The sources noted the content of the Qatari minister's statement following his meetings in Iran, in which he confirmed his country’s readiness to support "the political and diplomatic process for the return of Iran and the United States to the nuclear agreement and to reduce regional tensions." This position coincided with diplomatic information indicating that Minister Al Thani addressed the situation in Lebanon during his talks with Iranian officials, in light of his visit to the country last week. During some of his meetings in Lebanon, he hinted at his endeavors toward Iran and the possibility of discussing issues related to the Lebanese crisis, given Tehran's role in the ongoing crisis and its influence on the preparations and initiatives for forming the new government, despite Iran's insistence on rejecting external initiatives regarding Lebanon, particularly the French movement criticized by Iranian officials on several occasions in recent days. During his visit to Beirut, Al Thani called on various political factions in Lebanon to prioritize the interests of the Lebanese people and to form a government as quickly as possible, clarifying that all countries are engaged in supporting the formation of the Lebanese government.
