Israeli forces launched a series of airstrikes on sites and military observatories belonging to the Islamic Jihad Movement in the Gaza Strip yesterday. A spokesperson for the Israeli army announced that the new aggression initiated by Israeli warplanes against Islamic Jihad targets is called: "Dawn's Emergence." Meanwhile, attention is turning toward the Lebanese arena amid the intensifying battles, raising many questions about whether Hezbollah will support the Palestinian factions in Gaza—especially after it praised them for confronting the aggression and commended their role in resistance.
In this context, partisan sources, in a conversation with "Akhbar Al-Youm," praised the resilience and steadfastness of the resistance fighters and their creativity on the battlefield, as well as the immense patience of the oppressed people of Gaza, who are unified in their resistance and conditions. They confirmed that Hezbollah and the Islamic Resistance stand firmly with the uprising and resistance of the Palestinian people in heart and soul, in will and destiny, and supported their vision for the situation and their rightful conditions to end the ongoing battle.
Clearly, all indications suggest alarming consequences of the aggression, following heightened threats from Israeli ministers who threatened to destroy Dahiya if the party targets gas platforms in the Karish field. This implies that acceptance of Lebanon’s proposals or offers will not occur, and Israeli responses are likely to be negative, which could pave the way for new steps from the party. This might compel the execution of Israeli threats in an attempt to deter Hezbollah from taking escalatory actions.
It is reported from the supporting environment of the resistance forces that they support resorting to force to confront Israeli arrogance. In the colloquial terms of many in this environment: "Welcome to martyrdom... dying in war defending our homeland, dignity, and resources is far better than dying of hunger... We ask the resistance to destroy Tel Aviv before it takes any sudden action against Dahiya." Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Force Commander Brigadier General Esmail Qaani revealed on Saturday that "Hezbollah is planning to deliver the final blow to the Zionist entity and eliminate it at the right time."
In light of all this, three expected scenarios are outlined in the event of war between Lebanon and Israel: First, targeting Israeli oil and gas extraction platforms in the Eastern Mediterranean. Second, sending units from the "human frogs," part of the special "Ridwaan" brigade, to strike Israeli beaches and ports, and to carry out commando suicide operations. Third, igniting a regional war involving all countries and military arms of the resistance axis against the occupying state.
The most alarming concern, according to security sources, is the potential for entangling the southern front by launching missiles at northern Israel, as has occurred during previous aggressions. Field sources in southern Lebanon confirmed to "Akhbar Al-Youm" that the Lebanese army has intensified its security measures in the region while dispatching reinforcements to enhance patrols along the Blue Line and in border towns to prevent any security deterioration.
