A traffic accident occurred with a car overturning in a ditch on the side of the main road in Deir Zenoun / Riyaq - Beqaa, resulting in two fatalities.
The National News Agency reported that two individuals died as a result of the car accident and the vehicle overturning in the ditch. The agency added that the bodies were transported to the hospital after the relevant security agencies arrived and completed legal procedures. The report noted that members of the "Civil Defense" extinguished a fire that engulfed the car after it flipped, utilizing hydraulic rescue equipment to remove both individuals due to the severe damage to the vehicle's structure from the force of the accident.
In a related incident, the reporter from the National News Agency in Baalbek reported that a citizen, A.B.M., was shot at by an individual named A.R.M. for reasons that remain unknown, resulting in a gunshot wound to the leg, necessitating his transfer to Al-Murtada Hospital in Baalbek for treatment. Additionally, an exchange of gunfire occurred in the Nahr al-Bared camp after an individual dispute escalated, leading to the sound of gunfire in some areas of the camp, but no injuries were reported. The joint security force in the camp intervened promptly to contain the situation.
Furthermore, the reporter from the National News Agency in Tripoli reported that three individuals were injured after a masked person opened fire with a pistol at several youths in the vegetable market in Bab al-Tabbaneh, namely: (M.K.), (D.K.), and (A.H.), who were taken to the hospital for treatment, while security forces arrived and opened an investigation into the incident.
