Dubai's ports in the UAE have opened their maritime ports at Jebel Ali Port, Port Rashid, and Hamriya to the State of Qatar, in line with a circular issued by the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure.
Dubai Ports World stated that in accordance with the circular issued by the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure on the eighth of this month, all ports and terminals of Dubai Ports World in the UAE with the State of Qatar have been reopened as of the ninth of this month. Dubai Ports World has informed port authorities, shipping agents, and shipowners and masters regarding the resumption of normal maritime operations, and is facilitating import and export processes as well as all other cargo handling activities at all group ports and terminals. The Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure also announced that the UAE has resumed operations to open all land, sea, and air crossings with the State of Qatar, and the ministry has canceled previous circulars issued by the maritime administration regarding "any restrictions imposed on dealings with the State of Qatar," allowing maritime activities and movement between the two countries to resume in their normal forms. According to the agreement, 4 Arab countries, including the UAE, have agreed to fully restore relations with Qatar, ending a three-year boycott.
