Title: Trust in the Military and Security Forces Remains Unshaken

The president of the "Youth Movement of Lebanon," Eli Saliba, affirmed that the public's trust in the military institution and security forces will not be shaken, regardless of the false statements made by some spiteful individuals.

In a statement reported by the National News Agency, Saliba noted, "It is disgraceful to spread rumors about the escape of officers and soldiers from security agencies during this delicate time." He regarded these rumors as aimed at undermining trust in state institutions, particularly security ones, through inaccurate and false information, highlighting that it is an attempt to weaken legitimate security institutions in favor of armed groups.

Saliba emphasized that officers and personnel from various security agencies continue to fulfill their national duties, whether in terms of safeguarding sovereignty or maintaining security and order, despite their salaries and allowances being affected by the devaluation of the national currency like other Lebanese. He pointed out that, no matter how difficult the circumstances become, they have not reached a point of abandoning their duties or leaving their country, indicating that they have faced far worse situations in the past without taking similar actions.

Saliba reiterated that public trust in the military institution and security forces will remain unshaken, no matter how many false statements some spiteful individuals make. He praised the oath they took and their loyalty to Lebanon and its institutions, noting their courage in fighting terrorism in the outskirts and some camps, as well as standing against the Israeli enemy, risking their lives for this beloved homeland. He expressed confidence that the dark cloud covering Lebanon will eventually dissipate, and they will return to a secure, prosperous, and stable nation sooner rather than later.
