The International Coalition forces carried out an air landing operation in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, successfully arresting a leader and a former official from ISIS. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, citing activists, reported that the Coalition executed the operation after midnight on Monday in the village of Al-Zar in eastern Deir ez-Zor, involving 8 helicopters, including a troop carrier. They arrested a former official from what was known as the "Health Bureau of the Euphrates State" during ISIS's control.
Additionally, the Coalition forces arrested another leader from the organization, a resident of the town of Al-Bolil, according to the Observatory. The Coalition elements also detonated a citizen's house using explosives, and the operation was carried out without the participation of the Syrian Democratic Forces or any ground troops.
It is noted that on July 1st, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored a security operation by the International Coalition and the Syrian Democratic Forces in the village of Khirbat Jamous, located in the eastern countryside of Hasakah, near Mount Kaukab, which is under the control of the Syrian regime. The operation targeted a house after it was surrounded by the raiding forces, demanding those inside to surrender. However, a clash ensued, leading to an exchange of gunfire between the two sides, before the Coalition's warplanes intervened and bombed the house. The bombardment resulted in the deaths of three individuals inside the house, believed to be from ISIS.
