Liverpool Torches "Red Devils" as Salah Breaks the Curse

Liverpool Torches

Liverpool achieved a valuable victory over visiting Manchester United with a score of four goals to nil on Tuesday night, as part of the 30th week of the English Premier League. The first goal for the "Reds" came from Luis Diaz in the fifth minute, followed by the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah scoring the second goal in the 22nd minute. The third goal was recorded by Senegalese Sadio Mane in the 67th minute, before Salah returned to score the fourth goal in the 84th minute. With this, "Mo Salah" managed to break the curse that had haunted him recently and attracted much criticism due to his declining form and goal drought.

With this victory, Liverpool temporarily tops the Premier League standings with 76 points, awaiting the match between rival Manchester City and Brighton, scheduled for Wednesday. Meanwhile, Manchester United remains at 54 points in fifth place.

The match also witnessed a beautiful humanitarian gesture from Liverpool fans, who expressed their solidarity with Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, who was devastated by the death of his newborn son. "The Don" missed the match after announcing on Monday evening the passing of his infant son with girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez.

In the seventh minute (Ronaldo's shirt number) of the match, Liverpool fans stood and held up the Portuguese star's jersey, dedicating applause to him to show their support and solidarity in this tragedy. The attending Manchester United fans at Anfield also participated in this humanitarian gesture.
