Popular Mobilization Forces Announce Death of So-Called Governor of Tarmiya and ISIS Mufti

The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) issued a statement regarding the heroic operation in Tarmiya that led to the death of the so-called governor of Tarmiya and the ISIS mufti, along with several terrorist leaders.

According to a statement from the head of the PMF, Faleh al-Fayyadh, concerning the heroic operation in Tarmiya, the PMF members successfully conducted a brave mission early this morning, noting that it will significantly contribute to the security and stability of the capital Baghdad and surrounding cities.

The statement explained that the operation resulted in the killing of the terrorist criminal known as the "Governor of Tarmiya and the Sharia Mufti" of ISIS remnants, identified as (Shukar Sahi Dawood Salman Al-Mashhadani), also known as (Abu Hani), along with several terrorist leaders in the northern Baghdad and Fallujah sectors within Tarmiya district.

The statement revealed that this qualitative heroic operation led to the martyrdom of three brave fighters from the Tarmiya brigade of the PMF who answered the call of their country and duty, and it also resulted in the injury of the commander of the brigade that executed the operation.

Faleh al-Fayyadh expressed condolences to the PMF and their families and supporters, who have the right to be proud of their heroic sons, emphasizing that the Tarmiya operation raises heads high in honor of this national heroic act, which is part of a series of ongoing confrontations between the PMF and heroic security forces against the dark terrorism that attempts to spread its evil once again in Iraq.

The statement reassured Iraqis across the nation that the PMF will remain a protective shield and will continue to safeguard the cities, ensuring that no saboteurs disturb the peace and stability achieved at the cost of the blood of fighters and leaders.
