Actress Elham Shaheen commented on actor Ahmed Fلوك's attack on her via his official Facebook account. Shaheen stated in a statement to Masrawy: "I'm above responding; the way of speaking is truly unworthy of coming from an artist, and I believe that if someone doesn't like the profession of art, they should leave it."
Previously, Elham Shaheen had said: "In the past, all respectable films included a kiss for the lead actress, but now it's considered something against ethics; there has been a significant change in society."
Ahmed Fلوك wrote on his Facebook account: "Apart from your affection, may I kindly ask you not to talk about this anymore? Do we currently consider a kiss to be against morals? When then, do we consider something to be against morals?" He added: "Forget all that, what about religion? This screen raises generations and shapes feelings, it does not raise monsters."
