The Return of the Conflict Between Amr Adib and Mohamed Ramadan: The Host Attacks Strongly

The calm observed in the conflict between Egyptian artist Mohamed Ramadan and journalist Amr Adib, which has reached the Egyptian courts, may just be the calm before the storm. In the episode on Friday of his show "El Hekaya," Adib discussed a video featuring Ramadan, expressing his disapproval of its content, stating, "He thinks we are fools... He thinks we don’t understand... He thinks we are in an era without radio and television." He pointed out that Ramadan believes the public cannot discern the truth; however, unfortunately for him, the audience has not been believing him for some time.

Adib then presented the video where Ramadan claims that the state has seized his funds. The Egyptian broadcaster refuted what Ramadan stated in the video, confirming to him that the funds mentioned belong to the late pilot Ashraf Abu Al-Yasir. He addressed Ramadan, saying, "You deceitful man, the man has died; shouldn't you have gone and gathered some money to give to his family? Do you really have to wait until it’s seized? Fear God."

Adib insisted that the least Ramadan could have done was to pay a higher compensation amount and apologize to the pilot's family for what happened. He criticized Ramadan for misleading everyone into believing that the Egyptian government is seizing the people’s money, which is not true.

Adib noted that Ramadan knows that this money is the rightful claim of the late pilot's family, but he intentionally ignored paying it, waiting instead for a ruling. Adib remarked, "God is great, Mohamed."

Adib conducted a phone interview with the lawyer responsible for the pilot's heirs' compensation, who revealed that after the pilot's death, Ramadan claimed that the ruling was void due to the pilot's passing and stated that he never intended to pay the family's compensation.

In conclusion, the Egyptian journalist affirmed that the government does not seize citizens' funds unless that person has committed crimes that warrant the seizure of their assets. He then mocked Ramadan one last time for his actions and the way he presented himself in the video, reminding him of the ongoing legal battle between them.
