How Drinking Natural Apple Cider Vinegar Can Increase Life Expectancy

According to health experts, average life expectancy can be enhanced by drinking natural apple cider vinegar due to its antimicrobial properties and its antioxidants that lower blood sugar levels, along with aiding in weight loss and improving heart health.

While a healthy diet and exercise can significantly boost life expectancy, many studies have also highlighted the benefits of consuming apple cider vinegar in this context. The first benefit of apple cider vinegar is its ability to help lower blood sugar levels and manage both types of diabetes. One small study suggested that natural apple cider vinegar could improve insulin sensitivity by 19% to 34% when consumed with a carbohydrate-rich meal, and it can significantly reduce blood sugar levels and insulin response as well.

In a second small study conducted on five healthy individuals, natural apple cider vinegar reduced blood sugar levels by 31.4% after consuming 50 grams of white bread immediately. The study also noted that taking two tablespoons of vinegar before bedtime could reduce a person's fasting blood sugar by 4% the next morning.

Furthermore, several studies have shown that apple cider vinegar can help people lose weight, as increased weight can elevate the risk of serious life-threatening diseases, including type 2 diabetes, coronary heart disease, and some types of cancer. Regarding weight loss, multiple human studies have indicated that vinegar can enhance feelings of fullness and satiety, which means reducing the amount of food consumed, thus preventing weight gain.

Additionally, a study involving 175 overweight individuals found that daily consumption of natural apple cider vinegar led to reduced belly fat and weight loss; taking one tablespoon (12 ml) resulted in a loss of 1.2 kilograms, while taking two tablespoons (30 ml) led to a loss of 1.7 kilograms.
