The study published on the "Express" website revealed that nutritionist Victoria Taylor stated that regular consumption of oats helps lower cholesterol levels, which reduces the risk of stroke or heart attack, especially if oatmeal is cooked daily every morning. Taylor also pointed out that it is better to add low-fat milk or water to mix with the oats to reduce calorie intake and improve its flavor, which is much better than adding fruit flavors, honey, or sugar that people consider healthy but are, in fact, not.
In the study, 18 participants who suffered from high blood pressure consumed oat grains for six weeks at breakfast, and a significant decrease in their total cholesterol and low-density lipoprotein levels was observed. Therefore, oatmeal juice is considered very important and beneficial in lowering blood pressure, reducing cholesterol levels, and improving insulin resistance.
