Title: Messi Threatens to Leave PSG Due to Cristiano Ronaldo

Reports suggest that Argentine star Lionel Messi, the forward for Paris Saint-Germain, has threatened the French club's management with a departure if they sign Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United. Ronaldo's name has been linked with leaving Manchester United due to his desire to participate in next season's Champions League after "the Red Devils" failed to qualify.

Catalan newspaper "El Nacional" reported that Messi warned Paris Saint-Germain's management that he might leave the team this summer if they sign Ronaldo. The newspaper added: "Lionel Messi does not wish to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo in the same team."

Ronaldo's agent, Jorge Mendes, is attempting to find a new team for the Portuguese star during the current summer transfer window, with links to Chelsea in England, Bayern Munich in Germany, and Napoli in Italy, according to media reports.

Ronaldo and Messi transferred to Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain, respectively, last summer. Despite Ronaldo outperforming Messi in terms of goals last season (24 goals to 11), Messi, at age 35, participated in 26 Ligue 1 matches in his first season with Paris Saint-Germain, scoring only 6 goals and assisting 14, in addition to 5 goals in 7 Champions League matches.

In contrast, Cristiano Ronaldo, the "Madeira Rocket," scored 24 goals and provided 3 assists in 37 matches across all competitions for "the Red Devils" last season, including 6 goals in 7 Champions League matches. Cristiano Ronaldo, at age 37, holds the record for the most goals in Champions League history with 141 goals, followed by Lionel Messi in second place with 125 goals.
