President Dr. Sleem Al-Hoss affirmed that with the death of Anis Al-Naqqash, the Arab nation has lost one of its honorable intellectuals who tirelessly sought to unify the capabilities of this glorious nation in the pursuit of liberating Palestine from the occupying Israeli enemy.
According to the National News Agency, President Dr. Sleem Al-Hoss sent a condolence message to the family of thinker Anis Al-Naqqash, expressing his sadness over the news of his passing. He stated, "We received with great sorrow the news of the death of the Arab nationalist thinker, Mr. Anis Al-Naqqash, and we can only say what pleases God: There is no power and no strength except with God."
Al-Hoss confirmed that with the passing of Al-Naqqash, Palestine lost a fighter, activist, and believer in its liberation, who vowed by the Quran and the gun to liberate Palestine from the river to the sea, dedicating his life and intellect to the cause. He was a thinker with dignity, pride, and honor, rejecting humiliation, and a valiant resister defending the identity and Arab land, a true warrior on the path of sacred jihad to achieve the liberation of Palestine and all Arab land from the clutches of Israeli occupation.
In his message, Al-Hoss pointed out that Anis Al-Naqqash was driven towards achieving the intended goal, setting a unique example in exploring the depths of the stages, and was proactive in giving without limits and without compensation, maintaining the focus towards Palestine, as he never shouted for anything other than Palestine.
Al-Hoss emphasized that Al-Naqqash was a symbol of Arab resistance and an inspiring figure who left a commendable intellectual and activist legacy that will guide generations of the nation who believe in belonging to the identity, Arab land, and Arab rights.
He concluded his message by offering his heartfelt condolences to the family of the deceased, his loyal friends, and all honorable activists, asking God Almighty to grant him paradise and its bliss and to grant us patience in this painful separation. The thinker and activist Anis Al-Naqqash passed away yesterday in a hospital in Damascus due to complications from COVID-19.
