Under the headline "Trump: 'Terrifying' Outbursts and a Solution in the Hands of the Music Man," Sky News Arabia reported on former U.S. President Donald Trump. The site highlighted what a former White House spokesperson said, describing Trump’s outbursts as "terrifying," noting that he would not calm down until he heard his favorite musical pieces, according to excerpts from a book published by the American press on Tuesday.
In the book titled "I'll Take Your Questions Now," Stephanie Grisham, who frequently attended the daily press conference with journalists covering White House activities, described Donald Trump as moody and a liar, stating that he often acted covertly and displayed gender bias. Grisham served as White House Press Secretary from July 2019 to April 2020 and later became the Chief of Staff for former First Lady Melania Trump.
Grisham confirmed that to calm the "terrifying" outbursts of the billionaire, who still enjoys significant support among American voters, a person was assigned in the White House to play his favorite songs, including "Memory," which is part of the musical "Cats," as reported by The New York Times. This person was referred to as the "Music Man."
The Washington Post reported on Grisham's comments about a meeting between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of a G20 summit two years ago. According to Grisham, Trump told his Russian counterpart, in the absence of journalists: "Well, I'll be tough with you for a few minutes. But that's just for the cameras; once they leave, we'll talk."
Grisham, who resigned from her position in Melania Trump's office following the January 6, 2021, Capitol attack, recounted that the former president concealed from the public the fact that he underwent a colonoscopy in 2019. She noted that Melania Trump became more hostile toward her husband after his affair with a pornographic actress was revealed. Grisham emphasized that after this scandal, the former First Lady requested that an attractive military officer accompany her during public appearances to provoke her husband’s anger.
Grisham explained that "a lack of credibility permeated" the White House during Trump's presidency "as if it was being circulated through the air conditioning system."
