Syrian actor Qusai Khuli expressed his happiness for being a member of the judging panel for "The Masked Singer" as the final episode aired last night on MBC Egypt.
Khuli shared photos from behind the scenes of the show on his Instagram account, saying: “It was truly a beautiful experience in every way; sincere, simple, loving, and different. It's an experience that takes you back to being a beautiful child, or brings out the child hidden within you, because in my opinion, the most beautiful thing a person possesses is the childhood that knows no impossibility." He continued: "Thank you for this opportunity and experience MBC, thank you to my fellow judges, thank you to the entire technical crew for your efforts in crafting this work with such quality, thank you to my wonderful team for your work, care, and belief in my work, and finally, thank you to our appreciated audience for your follow-up and interest in every detail that reflects your love."
Artist Ihab Tawfiq won the first season of "The Masked Singer" after keeping the judging panel and the audience guessing for ten previous episodes. In the final episode, Tawfiq decided to ease the panel's task by giving a gift to Hassan El Raddad that revealed his identity. The gift was a "scarf" used by El Raddad in his film "Zanqat Settat" when he danced to the song "Danny."
The judges in the final episode agreed, after lengthy discussions and analyses, on the identities of the characters represented by the wolf (Saudi artist Waad) and the cheetah (artist Amal Bouchoucha). However, the character that puzzled them and sparked debate was the cobra, represented by artist Tawfiq. While Sirine, and artists Hassan and Mohannad believed this character was "Ihab Tawfiq," Qusai insisted it was character Hamada Helal.
The judging panel expressed their happiness for participating in this enjoyable experience, noting that from the beginning of the show, Ihab Tawfiq highlighted a level of skill and talent that left them puzzled about his true identity.
