Recently, social media buzzed with news about the divorce of Egyptian artist Hossam Habib from Egyptian artist Sherine Abdel-Wahab, and his control over her finances after managing her career during their marriage. Sherine released an official statement regarding her separation from her husband. She clarified that the reasons for the separation are solely her own, and there is no need to delve into the details of her personal life," according to Al-Masry Al-Youm.
She continued, "The star Sherine Abdel-Wahab urges the press and all media outlets to respect her personal life, verify the accuracy of what is published, and refrain from spreading any news or fabrications aimed at tarnishing her image, affirming that the separation took place in complete tranquility, and there are no conflicts between her and her ex-husband Hossam Habib whatsoever. All news in this regard is unfounded and amounts to distorting the facts, confirming that she holds great respect for Hossam Habib."
Sherine added, "This statement comes to put an end to the ongoing debate on this issue, and also as a mark of respect for her audience that has always supported her in difficult moments, as well as for the honest voices that have consistently backed her success." Sherine Abdel-Wahab affirmed that she has decided to turn a new page with herself and her audience.
