Shery Adel Faces Health Crisis and Engy Hatab Requests Prayers for Her Recovery

Egyptian actress Shery Adel has faced a health crisis that led her to the hospital for a precise surgical operation, the cause of which has not been disclosed.

Egyptian actress Engy Hatab posted on her personal Instagram page, asking for prayers for Shery's swift recovery, saying: "Please pray for my sister and longtime friend, star Shery Adel, to recover. She will undergo a delicate surgery. May God bring you back safely, my dear."

On another note, Shery Adel is set to appear as a guest star in the series "Fares Bla Jawaz," featuring Egyptian star Mostafa Qamar, which is scheduled to air in the upcoming Ramadan season. The cast of "Fares Bla Jawaz" includes actors Mohamed Tharwat, Tarek Abdelaziz, Suleiman Eid, Tarek Al-Ibiara, Mohamed Taima, and some rising young faces including Mostafa Hamza, Mohamed, Youssef, Randa Abdel Salam, and Maghawry, with a script by Fidaa Al-Shandawili.

It is worth mentioning that Shery Adel's latest work was the story "Amr Shakhsy" from the series "Illa Ana," written by Omar Abdel Halim and directed by Mahmoud Kamel. She has stayed away from cinema since 2017, with her last film being "Fein Qalbi" alongside Mostafa Qamar and directed by Ihab Rady.
