The Lebanese artist Cyrine Abdel Nour expressed her admiration for the statements made by her colleague Elissa, coinciding with the airing of the first episode of the "Podcast" program, where Elissa was a guest, describing her as "genuine and sincere."
Elissa wrote on her personal Twitter account: "No matter how you are, I love you, and whatever you do, I love you. Congratulations, my true love, a woman with genuine opinions and simple words that resemble people and go straight to the heart, and congratulations on that clever and beautiful blend." Elissa then retweeted this and responded, saying: "My love, oh beautiful soul."
The Lebanese artist Elissa appeared as a guest on the first episode of the "Podcast," where she discussed personality traits associated with herself, such as boldness, sensitivity, intelligence, and honesty. Elissa reflected on her past experiences that shaped these traits, from her days in boarding school to her special relationship with her parents, through the challenges of her early career to facing illness.
Elissa emphasized that everyone should benefit from their experiences to enhance their personality and also criticize themselves, which helps in development. She stated that one should not give up but face all difficulties, especially since life is short, and it's essential to develop oneself and utilize all physical, psychological, and mental capacities to be an active member of society.
She continued: "I worked hard on myself; I obviously had musical and artistic intelligence, while I also diligently worked to enhance my social and emotional intelligence through self-critique, activating many types of intelligence, alongside having a love for knowledge and self-education."
Talking about her experiences with illness, she said: "When I learned about my illness, I felt that life was over. However, I quickly grasped the reality of the matter, gathered all my energies, and decided to continue my artistic activities and fight this illness with high morale. I emerged from this experience without any psychological scars. It's important to always remember that God does not burden you with what you cannot bear."
Elissa asserted that she is one of the artists who faced the most attacks and criticism in her life, and each time she felt sorrow from the severity of the attacks, she faced them with composure, especially leaning on her father, who comforted her significantly.
She noted that she has become accustomed to being strong, convincing herself that she does what satisfies her and not for others. She considers herself an artist who knows the limits of her boldness, referencing the music video for "Bidi Doub," which contained a boldness that society was not ready to accept. Had she focused on public reactions and the amount of criticism she would face, she wouldn't have taken that step.
